How many people do you know who have invented an instrument? In fact, how many musicians do you know who have invented an instrument?

Probably not many, if any. (Actually, we do have a friend who took apart his Washburn guitar to build an instrument but got lazy and now has neither guitar nor cool über-instrument. You may or may not know plenty of those people).

Minneapolis' musician David Krejci (Reverend Strychn Trio) has taken DIY instrument-making to the next level by breaking all the rules and ignoring modern musical devolution for the better. We're talking about the Cleophone, people, and if you haven't heard about, you best keep on reading...
